W polach odbiciowo\u015bci radarowej zak\u0142\u00f3cenia s\u0105 widoczne jako niemeteorologiczne echa typu <em>spike<\/em>. W konsekwencji mog\u0105 wprowadza\u0107 b\u0142\u0119dn\u0105 informacj\u0119 o opadzie, zw\u0142aszcza gdy osi\u0105gaj\u0105 du\u017ce warto\u015bci odbiciowo\u015bci lub nak\u0142adaj\u0105 si\u0119 na echa opadowe.<\/p>\n<p>Opracowane rozwi\u0105zanie \u0142\u0105czy detekcj\u0119 single-pol z algorytmami dual-pol s\u0142u\u017c\u0105cymi do wykrywania, weryfikacji i korygowania zak\u0142\u00f3ce\u0144. Zastosowana analiza ech w s\u0105siednich binach umo\u017cliwia wykrywanie i usuwanie fragment\u00f3w zak\u0142\u00f3ce\u0144, kt\u00f3re nie zosta\u0142y wykryte na poprzedzaj\u0105cych etapach przetwarzania. Algorytmy zosta\u0142y wdro\u017cone operacyjnie w systemie RADVOL-QC i s\u0105 stosowane w Wydziale Teledetekcji Naziemnej oraz Zak\u0142adzie Prognoz Nowcastingowych do przetwarzania danych z sieci POLRAD.<\/p>\n<p>Skuteczno\u015b\u0107 algorytm\u00f3w zweryfikowano na podstawie por\u00f3wnania raport\u00f3w ze stacji synoptycznych z danymi POLRAD z okresu od maja do wrze\u015bnia 2024 r. Walidacja wykaza\u0142a, \u017ce zastosowanie danych dual-pol niemal dwukrotnie zwi\u0119kszy\u0142o liczb\u0119 wykrytych przypadk\u00f3w w por\u00f3wnaniu z dotychczasowymi wersjami single-pol.
