\nICCARUS (Seminarium u\u017cytkownik\u00f3w ICON\/COSMO\/CLM\/ART) to mi\u0119dzynarodowa konferencja, kt\u00f3ra gromadzi u\u017cytkownik\u00f3w i tw\u00f3rc\u00f3w modelu ICON opracowanego w DWD. W tym roku odby\u0142a si\u0119 w dniach 10-14 marca w Offenbach k. Frankfurtu nad Menem.<\/span>
\nPrzez ostatnie dwie dekady ICCARUS ugruntowa\u0142 swoj\u0105 pozycj\u0119 jako centrum wymiany informacji na temat rozwoju modeli, parametryzacji fizycznej, asymilacji danych, generowania zespo\u0142\u00f3w, weryfikacji i zastosowa\u0144 system\u00f3w modeli opracowanych przez DWD.<\/span>
\nGrupy robocze s\u0105 organizowane albo jako spotkania hybrydowe w czwartek i pi\u0105tek w tygodniu ICCARUS, albo jako spotkania czysto wirtualne w ci\u0105gu dw\u00f3ch kolejnych tygodni. W tym roku Marcin Grzelczyk zaprezentowa\u0142 wsp\u00f3lny poster z Andrzejem Mazurem pt. Methodology for determining the Most Unfavorable Meteorological Conditions (MUMS) for the needs of locating of nuclear power plants vs. operational Early Warning System (EWAS) in the event of a failure at the NPP.<\/span>
\nOg\u00f3lnym celem COSMO jest opracowanie, rozw\u00f3j i utrzymanie niehydrostatycznego modelu prognoz meteorologicznych wysokiej rozdzielczo\u015bci, kt\u00f3ry ma by\u0107 u\u017cywany zar\u00f3wno do zastosowa\u0144 operacyjnych, jak i badawczych przez kraje cz\u0142onkowskie konsorcjum.<\/span>
\nPracownicy IMGW-PIB s\u0105 zobowi\u0105zani do aktywnego wspierania dzia\u0142a\u0144 konsorcjum, zar\u00f3wno w prowadzonych na bie\u017c\u0105co projektach naukowo-badawczych, jak i w formalnych strukturach organizacyjnych, takich jak grupy robocze (working groups, WG) i komitet steruj\u0105cy (steering committee, STC). <\/span>
\nKraje cz\u0142onkowskie konsorcjum s\u0105 zobowi\u0105zane corocznie organizowa\u0107 COSMO General Meetings. Spotkania te s\u0142u\u017c\u0105 wymianie informacji o post\u0119pach w projektach<\/span>
\norganizowanych przez grupy robocze, raportowaniu wynik\u00f3w i planowaniu prac na nast\u0119pny rok.
