Tak jak my pozostawiamy \u015blady na \u015bniegu, tak komety pozostawiaj\u0105 sw\u00f3j \u015blad w przestrzeni kosmicznej. W pier\u015bcieniu pozostawionym przez komet\u0119 kr\u0105\u017cy przede wszystkim py\u0142, kt\u00f3ry kiedy\u015b zosta\u0142 wyrzucony z tej komety. Kiedy wi\u0119c Ziemia, kr\u0105\u017c\u0105c po swojej orbicie, przechodzi przez taki pier\u015bcie\u0144 py\u0142u, obserwujemy zwi\u0119kszon\u0105 liczb\u0119 meteor\u00f3w, czyli r\u00f3j meteor\u00f3w.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Roje meteor\u00f3w i ich nazwy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Roje meteor\u00f3w, przez kt\u00f3re co roku przechodzi Ziemia w tym samym czasie, maj\u0105 w\u0142asne nazwy pochodz\u0105ce od gwiazdozbior\u00f3w, w kt\u00f3rych znajduje si\u0119 pozorny punkt wyj\u015bciowy roju (radiant). Mamy wi\u0119c r\u00f3j zwany <a href=\"https:\/\/solarsystem.nasa.gov\/asteroids-comets-and-meteors\/meteors-and-meteorites\/perseids\/in-depth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Perseidami<\/mark><\/a>, kt\u00f3rego radiant znajduje si\u0119 w Perseuszu i kt\u00f3rego maksimum nast\u0119puje 11 sierpnia oraz r\u00f3j <a href=\"https:\/\/solarsystem.nasa.gov\/asteroids-comets-and-meteors\/meteors-and-meteorites\/leonids\/in-depth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Leonid<\/mark><\/a>, kt\u00f3rego radiant le\u017cy w gwiazdozbiorze Lwa, a maksimum przypada na 17&nbsp;listopada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Drakonidy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To sta\u0142y, coroczny r\u00f3j meteor\u00f3w o aktywno\u015bci wyst\u0119puj\u0105cej mi\u0119dzy 6 a 10 pa\u017adziernika z maksimum przypadaj\u0105cym na 8 pa\u017adziernika. Drakonidy powstaj\u0105, gdy Ziemia zderza si\u0119 z kawa\u0142kami py\u0142u wyrzuconego przez komet\u0119 <a href=\"https:\/\/solarsystem.nasa.gov\/asteroids-comets-and-meteors\/comets\/21p-giacobini-zinner\/in-depth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">21P\/Giacobini-Zinner<\/mark><\/a> (st\u0105d kiedy\u015b u\u017cywana by\u0142a nazwa Giacobinidy), kt\u00f3ra okr\u0105\u017ca S\u0142o\u0144ce w ci\u0105gu 6,6 roku i w\u0119druje a\u017c w pobli\u017ce Jowisza. Do cz\u0105stek py\u0142u nale\u017c\u0105 g\u0142\u00f3wnie ma\u0142e cz\u0105steczki, o \u015brednicach od 0,5 do 5&nbsp;mm, nazwane meteoroidami (gr. <em>mete\u00f4ron<\/em> &#8211; unosz\u0105cy si\u0119). Meteoroidy staj\u0105 si\u0119 dla nas widoczne, kiedy z wielk\u0105 pr\u0119dko\u015bci\u0105, 30 km\/s i wi\u0119cej, wchodz\u0105 w atmosfer\u0119 Ziemi. Na wysoko\u015bci oko\u0142o 100 km, w wyniku zderzenia meteoroidu z cz\u0105stkami atmosfery powstaje tak wiele ciep\u0142a, \u017ce jego cz\u0119\u015b\u0107 wyparowuje. \u015aci\u015bni\u0119te cz\u0105steczki gaz\u00f3w zderzaj\u0105 si\u0119 z innymi cz\u0105steczkami i atomami powietrza i&nbsp;pobudzaj\u0105 je do \u015bwiecenia. \u015awiecenie to obserwujemy jako znane, kr\u00f3tkotrwa\u0142e zjawisko \u015bwietlne zwane meteorem, albo potocznie \u201espadaj\u0105c\u0105 gwiazd\u0105\u201d. W taki w\u0142a\u015bnie spos\u00f3b wzd\u0142u\u017c drogi meteorytu powstaje d\u0142ugi, \u015bwiec\u0105cy kana\u0142 powietrzny, kt\u00f3ry widzimy na niebie jako meteor. Najmniejsze cz\u0105stki py\u0142u ca\u0142kowicie wyparowuj\u0105 podczas swej drogi poprzez atmosfer\u0119 ziemsk\u0105. Wnikliwy jednak obserwator mo\u017ce zaobserwowa\u0107 do kilku meteor\u00f3w na godzin\u0119.
